Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology

Role: Clinical Lab Professional performing routine and complex laboratory testing in a high-volume clinical setting. Responsibilities: accept specimens per criteria, operate/troubleshoot instrumentation, prepare reagents, report accurate results, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with specimen processing. Requirements: Bachelor's in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; 1+ year of lab testing experience or MLS degree; proficiency with lab info systems, computers, and attention to detail. Preferred: ASCP/AMT certification, microbiology plate reading experience. High-value: high-volume clinical diagnostics, microbiology, quality control, and regulatory compliance (CLIA standards). Work setup: full-time, Monday-Friday, rotating weekends in Troy, MI; flexible for overtime. No travel specified.
