Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for specimen evaluation, performing routine and complex tests, troubleshooting instrumentation, and ensuring quality control in a clinical microbiology setting. Objectives include accurate test reporting to support patient care. Responsibilities encompass specimen assessment, reagent testing, instrument maintenance, and processing specimens as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, with at least 1 year of microbiology testing experience; ASCP or AMT certification preferred. High-value: clinical microbiology, laboratory testing, quality control, instrumentation troubleshooting, high-volume lab environment. Work setup: Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with rotating weekends; physical requirements and flexibility for overtime.
