Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for specimen acceptance, performing routine and complex tests, troubleshooting instrumentation, and ensuring quality control in a high-volume clinical laboratory setting. Objectives include delivering accurate test results to support patient care. Responsibilities encompass reagent evaluation, maintenance, specimen processing, and safety compliance. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, with at least 1 year of microbiology testing experience or an MLS degree. Preferred: 3+ months of testing experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-value specifics: Microbiology testing, laboratory environment, CLIA standards, and proficiency with laboratory information systems. Collaboration involves working within a team and independently, with flexibility for overtime and shift work. Work setup is onsite in Dublin, OH, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm, including rotating weekends.
