Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex specimen testing, ensuring quality and accuracy of results to support patient care. Responsibilities include specimen acceptance, instrument monitoring and troubleshooting, reagent testing, maintenance, and documentation, along with assisting in specimen processing. Requirements: Bachelorβs degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Medical Technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science; at least 1 year of clinical testing experience or MLS certification. Preferred: over 3 months of testing, ASCP or AMT certification. High-value: clinical laboratory setting, high-volume environment, proficiency with laboratory information systems, attention to detail, ability to work independently and in teams, physical capability for lab work, and flexibility for shift hours. Work setup: full-time, evening shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 pm - 2:30 am) at UT Knoxville Medical Center, with rotating weekends, and potential for overtime based on business needs.
