Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex testing procedures in a high-volume clinical lab setting. Objectives include ensuring specimen acceptability, maintaining instrumentation, troubleshooting, and delivering accurate, timely test results to support patient care. Responsibilities encompass specimen processing, reagent preparation, quality control, preventative maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; at least 1 year of clinical testing experience or MLS certification. Preferred: 3+ months of testing experience, ASCP or AMT certification, proficiency with laboratory information systems, and ability to work independently within a team. High-value biopharma specifics: clinical diagnostics, laboratory operations, quality assurance, and compliance with CLIA standards. Collaboration: working within a team, supporting specimen processing and testing workflows. Work setup: Monday–Friday, 10:00 am–6:30 pm, rotating weekends; physical presence required in Knoxville, TN; flexibility for overtime/shifts based on business needs.
