Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for conducting routine and complex testing procedures, ensuring sample acceptability, operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation, and maintaining quality control. Responsibilities include preparing reagents, reporting timely test results, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting specimen processing, all within a high-volume clinical microbiology environment. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; 1+ year of clinical microbiology testing experience or an MLS degree; proficiency with laboratory information systems and attention to detail. Preferred qualifications include 3+ months of additional testing experience and ASCP or AMT certification.
