Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex testing procedures, ensuring specimen acceptability, and maintaining laboratory instrumentation. Objectives include delivering high-quality, timely test results to support patient care. Responsibilities encompass troubleshooting equipment, preparing reagents, conducting quality control, and assisting in specimen processing. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical, Biological, or Medical Laboratory Science field; at least 1 year of clinical testing experience or MLS certification. Preferred: 3+ months of lab experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: Clinical laboratory testing, high-volume environment, routine and advanced procedures, working with laboratory information systems. Work setup: On-site in Mobile, AL, with a Monday-Friday schedule 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, alternating weekends; flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed.
