Role: Grossing Technologist Trainee responsible for preparing histopathological slides and accurately grossing surgical specimens in a high-volume clinical laboratory setting. Objectives include specimen dissection, documentation, and specimen processing to support pathologist diagnosis. Responsibilities encompass gross description, diagramming specimens, instrument operation, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Histology, or Medical Technology; 3+ months of clinical lab or grossing experience preferred; ASCP or AMT certification desired.
