Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Hematology

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex specimen testing, monitoring instrumentation, and ensuring quality control to deliver accurate diagnostic results. Responsibilities include specimen assessment, troubleshooting equipment, preparing reagents, maintaining documentation, and supporting laboratory operations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, with at least 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience or an MLS degree. Preferred: 3+ months of testing experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-value: Clinical laboratory setting, high-volume throughput, routine diagnostic testing, adherence to CLIA standards, and laboratory information system proficiency. Work setup: Night shift in Birmingham, AL, with flexibility for overtime and shifts as needed.
