Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Cytogenetics

Role: Technologist Trainee in a clinical laboratory setting, responsible for specimen evaluation, performing routine and complex testing according to SOPs, troubleshooting instrumentation, preparing reagents, reporting accurate results, and maintaining quality control. Responsibilities include specimen processing, equipment maintenance, and ensuring a safe work environment. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; 3+ months of clinical lab experience preferred; ASCP or AMT certification desired. High-Value: clinical laboratory testing, routine and complex procedures, specimen management, instrumentation troubleshooting, quality control, and safety protocols. Work setup: full-time night shift (Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00pm-5:30am); training provided; location at RTP, NC; flexible to work overtime or different shifts.
