Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Core Lab

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing and monitoring clinical laboratory tests, ensuring specimen acceptability, troubleshooting instrumentation, and maintaining quality control. Objectives include delivering accurate, timely results to support patient care. Responsibilities encompass executing complex procedures per SOPs, preparing reagents, and assisting with specimen processing. Qualifications: Bachelor's in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Lab Science, or Medical Technology; 1+ year of clinical testing experience or MLS certification; proficiency with lab systems and attention to detail. Preferred: 3+ months of experience, ASCP/AMT certification. High-Value: Clinical laboratory setting, high-volume environment, routine and complex testing, and adherence to CLIA standards. Work setup: Monday-Friday, 6:30 am-3:00 pm, rotating weekends, Knoxville, TN; physical ability to perform job tasks and pass color blindness test; flexibility for overtime or shift changes.
