Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Chemistry

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex tests in a high-volume clinical laboratory setting, ensuring specimen acceptability, troubleshooting instrumentation, and delivering accurate test results. Responsibilities include preparing reagents, maintaining quality control, monitoring equipment, processing specimens, and supporting lab operations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, with a Florida MT license; 3+ months of testing experience preferred. Additional qualifications: proficiency with lab information systems, attention to detail, ability to work independently and in teams, and flexibility for shift hours and overtime. High-Value: clinical laboratory testing, high-volume environment, microbiology/biochemistry, quality control, and troubleshooting; preferred ASCP or AMT certification. Work Setup: On-site in Tampa, FL, with shift hours from 5 am to 1:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
