Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Role: Clinical Laboratory Professional responsible for specimen assessment, performing routine and complex testing, instrument troubleshooting, and quality control in a high-volume diagnostic lab setting. Objectives: ensure accurate, timely test results to support patient care and laboratory operations. Responsibilities: evaluate specimen acceptability, operate and maintain instrumentation, prepare reagents, troubleshoot issues, and document procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's in a Chemical or Biological Science, Medical Technology, or related field; 1+ year of clinical lab experience or MLS credential; FL Medical Technologist license. Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: clinical diagnostics, laboratory testing, specimen processing, instrumentation troubleshooting, quality assurance; work in a production environment with emphasis on accuracy and safety. Collaboration: works within a team and may liaise with other laboratory personnel. WorkSetup: night shift (Thursday-Sunday, 8:00 pm–6:30 am) in Jacksonville, FL; flexibility for overtime/shifts; safety protocols required.
