Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Blood Bank

Role: Clinical Laboratory Professional performing routine to complex testing in a high-volume, production environment at Henry Ford Saint John in Detroit, MI. Responsibilities: determine specimen acceptability, operate and troubleshoot lab instrumentation, prepare reagents, report results, perform maintenance and quality control, assist with specimen processing, and ensure safety protocols. Requirements: Bachelor's in a Chemical or Biological Science, Medical Technology, or clinical laboratory testing experience; ASCP or AMT certification preferred; 1+ years of lab experience preferred, including blood bank. High-Value: clinical diagnostics, high-volume processing, blood bank experience preferred, and work in a shift-based, high-demand setting. WorkSetup: shift 3 (4x10 hours, nights), with overtime and shift flexibility as needed.
