Role: Clinical Laboratory Professional responsible for performing diagnostic testing in a high-volume clinical lab setting. Objectives include ensuring specimen acceptability, executing routine and complex tests, troubleshooting instrumentation, and delivering accurate, timely results to support patient care. Responsibilities encompass specimen evaluation, reagent preparation, quality control, preventive maintenance, and specimen processing, all within a regulated, GxP-compliant environment. Requirements: Bachelorβs degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Medical Technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science; 1+ year of lab testing experience or MLS certification; proficiency with lab instruments, information systems, and computers; strong attention to detail, communication, and organization skills; ability to pass color blindness testing. Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification. High-value specifics: Performs clinical diagnostics in a high-throughput hospital-based setting, supporting emergency department testing. The role requires flexibility for overtime and shift work, including weekends. Work setup: On-site in Wichita, KS, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, rotating weekends.
