Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist responsible for specimen evaluation, performing routine and complex testing procedures, troubleshooting instrumentation, and reporting accurate results to support patient care at MelroseWakefield Hospital. Responsibilities include specimen processing, reagent preparation, quality control, preventative maintenance, supply management, and maintaining a safe work environment. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a chemical/biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; at least 1 year of laboratory testing experience or an MLS degree. Preferred: 3+ months of additional testing experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: Clinical lab testing, hospital setting, shift work with differential pay, proficiency in laboratory information systems, ability to work independently and in high-volume environments, flexibility for overtime and shift changes, physical requirements, and passing color blindness tests. WorkSetup: onsite at MelroseWakefield Hospital, with shift schedule of 8 days on, 6 off, including overnight and weekend shifts.
