Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex testing procedures, ensuring specimen quality, maintaining instrumentation, and reporting accurate results to support patient care. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, preparing reagents, performing quality control, and maintaining a safe work environment. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, with at least 1 year of clinical testing experience or an MLS degree. Preferred qualifications include over 3 months of testing experience, certification (ASCP or AMT), proficiency with laboratory information systems, and ability to work independently in a high-volume lab. High-value specifics: clinical laboratory setting, diagnostic testing, emphasis on quality control and instrumentation management, and familiarity with CLIA standards. Collaboration involves supporting healthcare providers and processing specimens as needed. Work setup: onsite in Burlington, NC, with a schedule from Friday to Tuesday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and flexibility for overtime or shift changes.
