Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Role: Clinical Laboratory Professional performing routine and complex testing at Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital, primarily during overnight shifts. Responsibilities: evaluate specimen acceptability, operate and troubleshoot lab instrumentation, prepare reagents, ensure timely reporting of results, maintain quality control, and assist with specimen processing. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or equivalent; at least 1 year of Blood Bank and clinical testing experience or MLS certification. Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification, familiarity with laboratory information systems. High-Value: Blood Bank experience, CLIA and state regulatory compliance, high-volume production environment, potential sign-on bonus. WorkSetup: shift-based role, night hours, with flexible overtime depending on lab needs.
