Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Role: Clinical Laboratory Professional at Genesys Hospital performing high-volume, routine and complex testing to support patient diagnosis and care. Responsibilities: evaluate specimen acceptability, operate and troubleshoot lab instrumentation, prepare and evaluate reagents, perform quality control, document procedures, and assist with specimen processing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Biological or Chemical science or Medical Technology; 1+ years of clinical lab experience or MLS credential; proficiency with lab info systems, computers, and attention to detail. Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: clinical diagnostics, high-throughput testing environment, shift work, and safety compliance; no specific therapeutic focus or development stage is specified. Collaboration: work within a team in a hospital laboratory setting. WorkSetup: onsite at Genesys Hospital, rotating weekends, shifts 10:00pm-6:30am; flexibility for overtime and other shifts.
