Clinical Laboratory Technician

Role: Clinical Lab Professional responsible for performing routine and complex laboratory testing to support diagnostic services at Ascension St Agnes. Objectives include specimen evaluation, instrument operation and troubleshooting, reagent testing, and delivering accurate, timely results to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities encompass specimen acceptability assessments, maintenance and quality control, and assisting with specimen processing. Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a chemical or biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; ASCP or AMT certification preferred; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in laboratory information systems and computers; attention to detail and strong organizational skills; pass a color blindness test; flexibility for overtime or shift changes.
