Clinical Laboratory Technician

Role: Laboratory Technician responsible for performing routine and complex testing procedures in a clinical laboratory setting to ensure accurate diagnostic results. Objectives include specimen acceptance, instrument operation and troubleshooting, reagent testing, and quality control. Responsibilities encompass preparing and evaluating reagents, maintaining equipment, documenting results, and supporting specimen processing, all within a regulated environment. Requirements: Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; 3+ months of lab testing experience preferred; ASCP or AMT certification desirable. High-Value: Clinical laboratory testing, high-volume environment, biological/chemical science background, proficiency with laboratory information systems, adherence to CLIA standards, and ability to work independently and in teams. Work setup: On-site in Richmond, VA, with a Monday-Friday schedule; flexibility for overtime or shift changes.
