Clinical Laboratory Team Lead

Role: Clinical Laboratory Team Leader responsible for overseeing daily lab operations, ensuring quality testing, and supervising staff in a high-volume clinical setting. Objectives include maintaining laboratory efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with SOPs and quality standards. Responsibilities encompass operational management, specimen acceptability assessment, performing and troubleshooting technical procedures, reagent preparation, and reporting results. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science or Medical Technology, with 4+ years of clinical testing experience. Preferred: ASCP or AMT certification, 6+ months supervisory experience. High-value: Laboratory operations, specimen processing, quality control, instrumentation troubleshooting, and staff training in a clinical diagnostics environment. Work setup: On-site in Raleigh, NC; flexible to overtime or shift changes as needed.
