Clinical Engineering Technician I - Liquid Profiling (1st Shift)

Role: Clinical Engineering Technician responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory equipment within a clinical molecular lab. Objectives include ensuring equipment functionality, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting lab operations. Responsibilities: develop preventive maintenance procedures, perform equipment inspections, coordinate vendor services, conduct acceptance testing (IQ, OQ, PQ), troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain detailed records. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a science field, 1+ year experience in lab equipment repair or troubleshooting, knowledge of lab safety and quality regulations. Preferred: experience with medical device modifications, upgrades, and regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, ISO). High-value details: supporting a high-complexity clinical molecular lab, equipment qualification and validation, cross-department collaboration, adherence to GxP and safety protocols. Work setup: first shift (5:30am-4:00pm), with periodic travel and potential after-hours work.
