Main Responsibilities:
- Clinical Educator (CE) is a key field-based member of the US Rare Blood Disorders and Oncology Patient Services team, providing disease and product information and ongoing support to ITP, aTTP and multiple myeloma patients and caregivers.
- Establishes/maintains relationships with clinician staff; serves as subject matter expert on disease state, product, administration, and services.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to facilitate timely, ongoing access to therapy.
- Ensures compliance with corporate/industry policies and legal/regulatory requirements for field activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:
HCP Site Education (40%)
- Educate healthcare providers using approved resources prior to treating patients.
- Educate staff post-RX on disease, product, procurement, administration, and support services.
- Develop/maintain account plans; use CRM to manage territory and record activities.
- Conduct educational programming with clinician staff using approved resources.

Patient Assistance (20%)
- Ensure patients are educated and do not face unnecessary barriers to therapy.
- Communicate treatment barriers to prescriber/office staff.
- Collaborate with field partners and cross-functionally with other teams/case managers to support access, enrollment, and adherence.

Patient Education (40%)
- Educate patients on disease and product using approved resources; run branded/unbranded programs (live/virtual).
- Support on-going adherence; identify opportunities to support communities (including local patient events).
- Maintain accurate documentation in CRM.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS required; nursing/clinical background required (advanced degree plus).
- Not the patient’s medical professional; no involvement in care decisions or medical advice.
- Previous commercial and/or clinical experience (hospital or home health) required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Rare disease, hematology/oncology, apheresis experience.
- 3+ years account management and/or pharmaceutical patient education.
- Prior product launch experience.

Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent presentation and empathetic listening skills.
- Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit products.
- English required; bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Technical skills to navigate multiple complex platforms.

Requirements of the Job:
- Travel up to 60% within territory; occasional evenings/weekends.
- Valid Driver’s License; complete fleet safety training and maintain acceptable driving record.
