Job Responsibilities
- Provide clinical development expertise for late-stage thoracic oncology clinical trials, including oversight of study design, conduct, and analysis; may supervise (associate) medical directors.
- Conduct medical monitoring: eligibility assessment, data review, and safety monitoring.
- Lead peer-to-peer interactions with investigators.
- Serve as point of contact for clinical issues among study team, investigators, ethics committees, steering committees, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and contribute to development and maintenance of clinical trial and regulatory documents with Clinical Scientist and cross-functional teams.
- Execute clinical development strategies as part of the Clinical Subteam of the Global Product Team (GPT).
- Represent the company in external engagements (advisory boards, health authority interactions).
- Review and interpret clinical data; communicate key findings and implications to internal/external stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical expertise to advise and drive current/future clinical development plans.
Qualifications (Required)
- Medical degree required.
- 5+ years industry experience required.
- Clinical Development experience required.
- Primary medical degree (MD/DO/MBBS/MBChB) from a recognized school/university.
- Licensed to prescribe medicines independently for at least 2 years post intern/house officer/foundation period.
Preferred Qualifications
- Late-stage clinical development; Thoracic Oncology experience.
- Board certified/eligible in oncology or equivalent.
- Maintained medical license/registration in good standing.
Hybrid/Work Requirements
- Hybrid role; live within commuting distance; work on-site ~2.5 days/week. Travel to meetings/conferences several times/year. Relocation assistance may be provided.
