Job Summary
The medical director provides Clinical Development leadership and expertise on clinical trials, overseeing the design, conduct, and analysis within the PF 4404 program. Partners cross-functionally with regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, biostatistics, and medical affairs to meet scientific, ethical, and regulatory standards. Provides medical expertise to clinical operations, investigators, and external stakeholders (health authorities, ethics committees, and patient advocacy groups).

Job Responsibilities
Study-level Clinical Development Leadership
- Collaborate with Clinical Scientist(s) to provide clinical leadership across 2–3 study team(s) aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct medical monitoring (eligibility assessment, data review, safety monitoring).
- Lead peer-to-peer interactions with investigators.
- Serve as point of contact for clinical issues between study team, investigators, ethics/steering committees, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and contribute to development/maintenance of clinical trial and regulatory documents.
Strategic Guidance, Clinical Insights & Interpretation
- Review and interpret clinical data; identify key findings/implications; communicate to internal/external stakeholders.
- Stay current on latest developments, literature, and guidelines to advise and drive clinical development plans.

Basic Qualifications
- Primary medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, MBChB) from a recognized institution; 4+ years of experience.
- Licensed to prescribe medicines independently for at least 2 years post intern/house officer/foundation period.

Preferred Qualifications
- Late-stage clinical development experience.
- Thoracic experience.
- Board certified/eligible in oncology (or equivalent).

Additional
- Travel to conferences/team meetings (~4 times/year).
- Hybrid role: live within commuting distance; work on-site ~2.5 days/week.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Annual base salary: $239,900.00–$399,800.00; bonus target 25% of base; eligibility for share-based long-term incentives.
