Clinical Development Director, Early Development – Inflammation/Rare Disease

Role: Lead early phase clinical development of therapeutics in Inflammation, General Medicine, or Rare Disease, from first-in-human to proof-of-concept. Responsibilities: design and implement clinical development plans, contribute to study protocols, review safety and efficacy data, utilize biomarkers, and collaborate with internal teams (Research, Clinical Pharmacology, Safety, Regulatory, Commercial) and external partners. Qualifications: MD or DO with 2+ years in industry or academia; preferred Board certification or residency in Internal Medicine/subspecialty; 3+ years drug development experience, especially in early-stage trials; strong understanding of pathophysiology of relevant diseases; experience with clinical trial design, monitoring, and interpretation; leadership skills; excellent communication.
