Clinical Development, Associate Medical Director- Neurology

Role: Medical Lead for clinical trials, serving as the primary Medical Monitor to oversee safety and scientific integrity across Vertex's clinical development programs. Responsibilities: develop study protocols, investigator's brochures, and clinical development plans; participate in study execution teams; prepare regulatory documents (INDs, safety reports); provide scientific input on study documents and analysis plans; act as liaison internally and externally for clinical strategy and reporting. Requirements: MD, DO, or equivalent; approximately 8+ years of clinical or research experience in academic or industry settings; strong communication, collaboration, and regulatory interaction skills. HighValue: focus on clinical trial oversight, safety monitoring, regulatory submission support, and cross-functional collaboration; experience with global trials, GCP standards, and clinical pharmacology is desirable.
