Clinical Development Associate Medical Director-Nephrology

Role: Medical Lead for clinical trials at Vertex, overseeing study strategy, design, execution, safety monitoring, and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities: develop study protocols, participate in regulatory document preparation, provide scientific input on study documents, serve as liaison internally and externally, and represent Vertex in clinical development activities. Requirements: MD, DO, or equivalent; 8+ years in clinical or basic research, preferably with global clinical experience and regulatory interaction familiarity; strong communication skills; board certification/eligibility highly desired.
