Clinical Data Product Owner

Role: Clinical Data Product Owner at Caris, responsible for shaping clinically meaningful oncology data products by integrating genomic, clinical, and pathology data. Main objectives include defining product vision, developing patient eligibility criteria, and translating customer needs into actionable features, thereby setting scientific standards for a multi-modal data portfolio in precision oncology. Responsibilities encompass leading product development, validating cohort definitions with data science teams, establishing clinical validation frameworks, authoring scientific materials, and maintaining data standards and privacy workflows. Requirements: PhD, MD, or MSc in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related; 7+ years in clinical research, real-world evidence, or healthcare data product development; deep understanding of clinical data sources and patient phenotyping; proficiency in SQL, Python, or R; strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include oncology expertise, experience with claims and electronic medical records, data governance, and supporting data partnerships. The role involves collaboration with commercial teams, data science, and engineering, with some travel (~20%), and requires working at a computer with periodic in-person or remote meetings.
