Position Overview

As a Clinical Data Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our clinical trial data, driving progress in multiple Phase 3 studies. This is an opportunity to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise in data management will help advance therapies for patients who urgently need better options. This position will report to the Associate Director, Data Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing data reviews and identify data discrepancies for assigned Phase 3 studies.
  • Manage study queries, including generation, tracking, and resolution.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of clinical databases, as required.
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential data or query trends.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and coordinate deliverables in alignment with overall study schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant clinical data management experience.
  • Experience working directly with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, including designing case report forms (CRFs) and creating data validation rules (edit checks) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across teams.
  • Demonstrated logical thinking, attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

This position is located in South San Francisco, CA. We are open to considering remote applicants as well.
