Position: Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) โ€“ Daytona Beach, FL

Responsibilities:
- Support launch and ongoing growth of Ionisโ€™s first wholly owned commercial product in territory as indication expands from Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) to severe hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG).
- Understand local healthcare landscape and build partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem.
- Build, maintain, and leverage local healthcare networks and relationships to develop and execute effective business plans.
- Engage key customers/accounts; identify opportunities to improve patient care; collaborate with cross-functional partners and external customers.
- Deliver customer-focused strategies to maximize business opportunities and customer satisfaction.

Customer Engagement & Experience:
- Educate HCPs/office staff on sHTG disease awareness, diagnostic pathway, and prioritization/treatment of appropriate patients.
- Create positive prescribing experience with value-added resourcing and HCP/patient support materials/programs.
- Participate in scientific meetings to educate HCPs on sHTG disease state and treatment.

Market Knowledge & Account Planning:
- Gather insights to profile accounts and inform sales/marketing strategy.
- Understand local referral networks and document potential sHTG-treating HCPs.
- Adjust tactics based on territory insight; develop strategic account plans with field/brand leadership.

Training & Teamwork:
- Attend field meetings/training; certify on approved label and required compliance/customer engagement training.
- Partner with cross-functional teammates; use technology to compliantly engage via multiple channels.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- 5+ years pharma sales experience: new product launches, account-based selling, HCP/IDN engagement, cross-functional coordination, independent territory management.
- Background in cardiology/endocrinology or related sub-specialties treating FCS patients.
- Injectable experience preferred.
- Familiarity with cardiometabolic/lipid-related diseases (sHTG).
- Established KOL and major account relationships.
- Ability to analyze market data and develop territory strategies; strong clinical knowledge.
