Position Summary:
The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) will call on prescribers representing Filspari for rare kidney disease, position the company as a leader in Nephrology, and maximize sales in their territory by providing support to diagnosis and management of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all business activities in geographic responsibility, including achieving sales goals, business planning, and expense control.
- Call on Health Care Professionals (HCPs) specializing in Nephrology in targeted institutions and offices.
- Engage providers managing patients with rare kidney disease and educate on the benefits of Travere therapies.
- Compliantly assist with access steps for therapies (e.g., proper testing procedures, site of care determination, reimbursement process education).
- Provide educational support to an underserved patient community.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required in related discipline (life sciences or clinical background preferred); equivalent education/experience may be considered.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
- 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized, high-value products.
Additional Skills/Experience (Preferred):
- Track record of sales success with quantifiable/documented accomplishments and awards.
- Experience in rare disease and/or highly specialized products.
- Prior experience calling on academic institutions.
- Previous start-up experience.
- Nephrology experience.
- Experience with specialty pharmacy distribution.
Skills/Requirements:
- Ability to plan, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify and address business opportunities.
- Proficiency with Sales Force Automation and basic business software.
- Organized; can multitask, prioritize, and manage shifting responsibilities in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong collaboration, attention to detail, interpersonal/organizational skills, and verbal/written communication.
- Reliable personal vehicle meeting company minimum requirements; background check including Motor Vehicle Record required.
- Travel up to 30% domestically overnight.
- Field-based role: live in territory or immediate adjacency.
- Ability to perform face-to-face work and meet credentialing requirements for access to healthcare facilities and customer sites.

- Target base pay range: $162,000.00β$211,000.00.
