Job Summary: The Clinic Subject Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and recruiting study participants through a variety of means (typically via phone and computer) and educating potential participants about clinical study participation.
Essential Functions:
- Work in compliance with Good Clinical Practice, SOPs, IRB guidelines, QA/QC procedures, Company policy, OSHA guidelines, and other applicable state/local regulations
- Recruit and phone-screen study participants; coordinate candidates with appropriate study participation
- Educate potential study participants on study participation
- Source internal/external participants to meet site recruitment needs
- Register study participants in the subject database and RSVP system at each screening visit and Period 1 admission
- Perform other duties supporting clinical operations and study execution
Education/Experience:
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1+ year in recruiting/call center/customer service from a clinical research, healthcare, or medical setting preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Effective communication with diverse populations over telephone and in person in English and Spanish required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred
- Independent team player; handles competing priorities
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Professional sensitivity to confidential information
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Fluent English and Spanish required (bilingual English/Spanish)
Physical/Work Conditions: Extended sitting/standing/walking; stooping/bending/lifting up to 50 lbs; may occasionally include weekends.
