Change Readiness Director โ Innovative Medicine R&D (People Leader)
Responsibilities
- Drive organizational change and lead the strategy, development, and implementation of improvement programs and transformations that drive performance and efficiency across R&D.
- Create and implement change readiness strategies and plans aligned to organizational/program objectives, including anticipated stakeholder impacts.
- Develop and execute employee communications frameworks and plans to ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
- Identify and engage key R&D stakeholders to gain buy-in and support across all levels.
- Develop and implement readiness/impact metrics and dashboards to measure effectiveness of change programs and impact on R&D performance.
- Identify significant changes from R&D strategic imperatives and translate insights into engagement strategies to prepare employees effectively.
- Role model and embed R&D Courage & Care culture and enable cultural/behavior shifts and new ways of working in a large matrix organization.
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field (Masterโs preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or communications, focused on operating model, culture, and technology transformations.
- Strong knowledge of change management frameworks/methodologies.
- Proven performance consulting experience to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
- Proven project management ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on-time results.
- Ability to analyze data to inform training strategies and improve program effectiveness.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading teams and external partners; leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience working inside a pharma R&D organization (preferred).

Benefits (as stated)
- Anticipated base pay range: $150,000.00 - $258,750.00
- Vacation: 120 hours/year; Sick time: 40 hours/year (Colorado: 48; Washington: 56); Holiday pay (Floating Holidays): 13 days/year; Work/Personal/Family Time: up to 40 hours/year
- Parental Leave: 480 hours (within one year); Bereavement Leave: 240 hours (immediate) and 40 hours (extended)/year; Caregiver Leave: 80 hours (52-week rolling period); Volunteer Leave: 32 hours/year; Military Spouse Time-Off: 80 hours/year
