Center Medical Director - Primary (Licensed MD or DO Physician)

Role: Center Medical Director (Contractor) overseeing donor suitability, collection, and safety for an immunodeficiency-focused biopharma center. Responsibilities: review and approve policies on donor testing, safety, and compliance; oversee medical staff including physician substitutes; act as CLIA Laboratory Director, ensuring regulatory adherence (FDA, CLIA, OSHA); manage donor assessments, immunizations, and medical records; participate in quality assurance and staff training; provide counseling on donor eligibility and safety issues. Requirements: MD or DO license in the operating state; for CLIA Laboratory Director, certification in Pathology or Hematology or relevant supervisory experience; CPR/BLS certification; GMP training; strong organizational, communication, and medical interpretation skills; experience with blood-borne pathogen protocols and compliance.
