Summary:
Cellular Therapy Market Access Manager (CMAM) executes access and reimbursement strategies for assigned Cell Therapy accounts in the Great Lakes geography (IN, MI, WV, OH). Leads Cell Therapy Market Access activities and collaborates with internal partners and external customers to meet goals while maintaining BMS standards.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure treatment centers understand market access: government payer policy, local coverage dynamics, complex reimbursement, coding & billing, and ordering/distribution processes.
- Cross-functionally coordinate with matrix teams (Account Management, Payer Account Executives, Patient Operations/Support, Access Strategy) to meet access objectives.
- Support P&T adoption; provide regional marketplace feedback (trends, competition, account issues/opportunities).
- Drive site-of-care economics understanding and access “pull-through” by removing barriers across inline and new indications.
- Build relationships with key access stakeholders; facilitate patient journey as needed.
- Escalate/triage access challenges; contribute to business plans aligned to access objectives.
- Deliver external presentations on access/reimbursement.
- Travel primarily within assigned geography.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s required (Business/Health/Life Sciences/Healthcare Admin or related); advanced degree preferred.
- 1+ year direct cell therapy experience strongly preferred.
- 5+ years oncology/hematology or complex buy-and-bill reimbursement experience required, including: coverage/coding/billing/payment, Medicare (e.g., NCD/IPPS/OPPS/340B), inpatient/outpatient managed care & medical policy, local coverage determinations, commercial case-rate negotiations.
- Certified coder/biller plus.
- Strong payer/hospital market access and reimbursement/coding knowledge; P&T process knowledge; health economics; US compliance understanding.
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, analytical/consulting skills; ability to manage ambiguity and multiple priorities; relationship-building.
- Travel up to 50%; valid driver’s license; must meet “Qualified Driver” requirements.
Compensation:
$199,040–$241,185 field/US, plus possible incentive cash/stock (eligibility-dependent).
