Cell Therapy Account Specialist, Overlay (Contractor)

Role Overview
- Represent Legend’s products and services to a defined customer base, generate and grow sales, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets within a specific geographic area.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Carvykti as the preferred CAR-T therapy for multiple myeloma among community and institution-based oncology customers; coordinate territory engagement activities with other Carvykti representatives.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Legend and competitor products and the complexities of the disease state.
- Navigate complex accounts; understand stakeholder needs/issues and triage to appropriate internal stakeholders for support.
- Identify geography-specific issues and opportunities.
- Provide timely insights from HCP interactions to cross-functional teams (account trends and potential therapeutic landscape changes).
- Develop and implement an account business plan using intel/insights to meet customer needs and corporate goals.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects for specific accounts/physicians; may co-promote with outside partner companies.
- Support identification/resolution of issues and opportunities; proactively communicate with marketing and sales management.
- Manage territory budget for customer engagements, speaker events, and other external expenditures.
- Represent Legend at national and/or local symposiums/conventions.
- Perform required administrative tasks (e.g., call activity and customer info reporting, expense submission).
- Report adverse events to Drug Safety and other appropriate internal departments.
- Promote appropriate use of Legend products to HCPs in accordance with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
- Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory agencies, state, and federal law; adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
- Preferred: 3 years of Oncology and specialty healthcare sales experience.
- Proven, consistent track record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives (preferably in specialty markets).
- Experience managing/executing in large community accounts, including strategic planning and problem-solving.
- Plus: cell therapy/bone marrow transplant sales experience.
- Plus: product launch experience in a highly competitive environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and presentation).
- Superior selling skills in competitive markets.
- Proven relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Aptitude for rapid learning/retention of technical and scientific product information.
- Self-motivated with high goals; able to work with general autonomy.
- Demonstrated teamwork/collaboration.
- Ability to read situations quickly and adjust for problems/roadblocks.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Agility in multi-tasking.
- Travel up to 50–60% of the time.
- Proven ability to attain organizational objectives.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform administrative responsibilities accurately and on time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
