CDL A Truck Driver

Role Summary

CDL A Truck Driver for Rockwell Transportation, delivering life-sustaining medical products to dialysis clinics and hospitals countrywide. Private fleet support for Rockwell Medical with regular interaction with Driver Managers and on-site staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical products to clinics, hospitals, and dialysis centers; unload at designated areas and collect used product barrels for return.
• Maintain regular communication with Driver Managers for scheduling and issue resolution.
• Operate according to safety rules and company/DOT requirements; maintain logs (ELD or manual).
• Collaborate with staff at customer sites during product delivery process.

Qualifications

• Required: 21 years or older, High school diploma or equivalent, Valid Class-A CDL, Valid DOT Medical Card, 3 years of clean MVR with limited major offenses/accidents, ability to pass DOT drug test, physical, and background check.
• Required: Adheres to safety rules for equipment and driving; ability to learn new technology; maintain scheduling requirements; professional, courteous, and self-motivated; ability to adjust to business needs.

Skills

• Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) or manual log maintenance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clinics and staff

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Physical demands include repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent entries/exits, bending, kneeling, climbing, and balance activities
