Category Sourcing Manager

Role: Category Sourcing Manager leading strategic procurement of both indirect and direct spend categories, including chemicals, APIs, packaging, and professional services, within an FDA-regulated biopharma environment. Objectives: identify cost-saving opportunities, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate favorable contracts, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain integrity and compliance. Responsibilities: manage RFQ/RFP processes, evaluate suppliers, negotiate commercial and legal terms, qualify suppliers per FDA and cGMP standards, support supplier transitions, and oversee supplier performance improvements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of sourcing experience, particularly in indirect procurement and professional services; experience within regulated industries such as pharma, biotech, or medical devices preferred. Skills: strong strategic negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, resilience, and conflict resolution.
