Category Manager, TPM

Role: Lead procurement strategy and execution for third-party manufacturing of large molecule drug substances at AbbVie. Objectives: develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier networks, and optimize procurement processes to support biologics manufacturing. Responsibilities: oversee end-to-end procurement processes, lead supplier selection and relationship management, negotiate contracts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance, supply assurance, and risk mitigation aligned with category strategy. Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across commercial, quality, and supply chain teams, and represent AbbVie with external suppliers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field; minimum 7 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or category management with technical expertise in large molecule biologics manufacturing. Preferred: experience supporting external manufacturing of biologics, strong negotiation and project management skills, and proficiency with procurement systems.
