Role: Lead procurement strategy and execution for third-party manufacturing of large molecule drug substances in biopharma, focusing on external supplier networks. Responsibilities: develop and implement procurement strategies for $25M+ annual spend, oversee end-to-end processes from sourcing to contracting, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure supply assurance, compliance, and value delivery; lead negotiations and contract management; and manage procurement projects aligned with organizational goals. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related; minimum 7 years’ experience in procurement, project management, or supply chain within biopharma, particularly in biologics drug substance manufacturing. Technical expertise in biologics manufacturing processes, external manufacturing models, and associated quality and supply risks is essential.
