Job Overview
The Carpenter will perform journey-level work in the design, construction, repair, and maintenance of structures, furniture, interior finishes, doors, and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Installing signage
- Constructing shipping crates
- Erecting/inspecting scaffolding
- Rough and finished carpentry, including cabinetry
- Working from work orders to build, remodel, retrofit, maintain, and repair facility components and structures
- Working with various materials
- Ensuring compliance with building and safety codes
- Estimating costs, time, and materials for projects
