Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and resolve account challenges with effective, tailored solutions.
- Build a strategic territory plan to align priorities and drive product demand.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Apply market/competitive knowledge to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Use territory data and market trends to uncover insights and lead customer engagements (virtual or in person).
- Facilitate planning sessions with key stakeholders to solve complex problems and collaborate across functions.
- Deliver real-time access support and work closely with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach (virtual and face-to-face).
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
- Experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similar complex sales) with large, geographically dispersed teams within last 5 years.
- Proven success selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with strong analytics and ethical leadership/compliance mindset.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of territory border; travel 60–80%; ability to drive and/or fly within territory; valid driver’s license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy & bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.
Leveling Guidelines:
- Associate: leadership via US Military with 4+ years or limited sales experience.
- Territory: 2+ years complex specialty/pharma/healthcare (last 5 years).
- Senior: 5+ years (last 5 years).
- Executive: 10+ years (last 5 years).
Driving is essential. Fully valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.
Field roles with dedicated training: complete initial training/home study (≤8 hrs/day, ≤40 hrs/week).
