Role Summary
The Cardiovascular Health & Science Professional (HSP) is a remote, field-based role based in Hot Springs, AR, responsible for increasing territory sales and building relationships with assigned customers by promoting Pfizer products and developing effective business strategies. The role requires customer, market, and business acumen, analytical skills, and deep knowledge of product and disease states, with the ability to drive promotional activities and engage customers in person or virtually. The HSP collaborates with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and deliver Pfizer objectives compliantly.
Responsibilities
- Drives sales in assigned territory.
- Engages with customers both face to face and virtually.
- Develops and implements effective business and territory call plans; identifies and implements live/virtual engagement strategies with customers to maximize impact.
- Builds rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual environments; utilizes digital tools to maintain engagement.
- Understands and leverages internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic opportunities.
- Compliantly leverages product and disease state knowledge to educate providers on brand/unbranded value propositions for relevant patient populations, using approved disease state information and resources.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork to collaborate across the organization and address customer inquiries while advancing Pfizer objectives.
- Completes all administrative expectations on time and compliantly.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following; OR an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Required: Professional Sales or Promotional Activity.
- Required: Small Business Owner or other Entrepreneurial experience, Marketing, Customer Service and/or Account Management.
- Required: Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT, etc.).
- Required: Educator (e.g., Teacher, Principal).
- Required: Full Time Military experience.
- Required: Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Required: Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards. Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired.
- Preferred: 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical related marketing.
- Preferred: Strong track record of sales or marketing success, strong territory management skills, outstanding communications skills, as well as demonstrated teamwork, leadership ability and accountability.
- Preferred: Experience with applicable disease states, therapeutic area, and products.
- Preferred: Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Preferred: Reside within the territory boundaries.

Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel to all accounts/office locations within territory; overnight stays may be required depending on territory size.
- Work Location: Remote - Field Based; Geography includes Hot Springs and spans southwest Arkansas, with coverage extending south to El Dorado and across Camden and Magnolia.
