Cardiovascular Disease Specialist - Southwest District

Territory / Role Overview:
- Field-based sales role covering the Southwest District (Tucson, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Diego, Newport Beach).
- Travel/overnights may be required ~25% to support client meetings and territory coverage.
- Develop and manage relationships with cardiologists, primary care, and other healthcare professionals; engage with physicians’ offices, integrated delivery systems, pharmacies, and hospital clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with policies, standards, and ethics.
- Maintain product knowledge and required certifications.
- Conduct compliant, balanced product sales discussions based on product labeling.
- Provide regular updates on customer needs, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.
- Use headquarter-approved information on approved products, disease areas, and the marketplace.
- Monitor business performance vs. objectives using company tools.
Qualifications:
- S1: BA/BS or high school diploma/equivalent with 0–3 years relevant experience.
- S2: BA/BS or high school diploma/equivalent with 3+ years sales experience (or 6+ years relevant experience).
- Ability to analyze complex data; develop strategic sales plans.
- Comfort with digital tools to engage healthcare professionals.
- Flexible/adaptable to market and customer needs; strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively; excellent organization/time management.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Live in territory (or within 25 miles of workload center for metro; within 75 miles for non-metro); relocate at own expense if outside.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Account management, consultative sales, or customer service; analytics/metrics experience.
- Minimum 3 years relevant sales experience; cardiovascular sales with cardiologist/endocrinologist relationships.
- Product launch experience; ability to simplify complex/technical information; multi-channel tools; proactive learning/agile mindset.
