Territory Assignment / Role Overview
- Field-based sales role covering the Southern California District: Los Angeles, Riverside, Burbank, Anaheim, Ventura, and Pasadena.
- Build and manage relationships with health care customers (cardiologists, primary care, and other HCPs) and engage across physiciansβ offices, integrated delivery systems, pharmacies, and hospital clinics.
- Overnight travel may be required about 25% of the time (varies by territory/candidate location).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with company policies, standards, and ethics.
- Maintain current product knowledge and certifications.
- Conduct balanced, compliant sales discussions aligned with product labeling.
- Provide management updates on customer needs, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.
- Use headquarter-approved information on products, disease, and marketplace.
- Monitor business performance vs. objectives using company tools.
Qualifications (Minimum)
- S1: BA/BS or high school diploma/equivalent with 0β3 years relevant experience.
- S2: BA/BS or high school diploma/equivalent with 3+ years sales experience (or 6+ years relevant experience).
- Ability to analyze complex data to develop strategic sales plans.
- Comfortable using digital tools/platforms to engage HCPs.
- Flexible/adaptable to changing market conditions.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills; works independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driverβs license.
- Reside in territory or within 25 miles (metro) / 75 miles (non-metro) of workload center; relocate at own expense if outside.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Sales/account management/consultative/customer service background.
- Metrics analysis; 3+ years relevant sales experience.
- Cardiovascular sales with relationships with cardiologists/endocrinologists.
- Experience launching products in competitive markets.
- Ability to simplify complex information and convey technical details.
- Advanced analytics and multi-channel tools; proactive, agile learning mindset.
