Cardiovascular Disease Specialist (Field Sales) — San Francisco Bay Area, CA
Territory/Travel: Field-based role covering the San Francisco Bay Area. Overnight travel may be required ~25% (travel needs vary by territory); candidate must reside within 50 miles.
Position Overview
- Develop and manage relationships with health care customers across physicians’ offices, integrated delivery systems, pharmacies, and hospital clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with company policies, standards, and ethics.
- Maintain current product knowledge and certifications.
- Conduct balanced, compliant product sales discussions aligned with product labeling.
- Use approved promotional materials to provide customers with key insights.
- Provide management updates on customer needs, patient health outcomes, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.
- Deliver insights based on professional knowledge and market trends.
- Monitor business performance against objectives using company tools.
Qualifications
- S1: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or high school diploma/equivalent with 0–3 years relevant experience (sales/marketing/military/healthcare/scientific fields such as pharma, biotech, medical devices).
- S2: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or high school diploma/equivalent with 3+ years sales experience or at least 6 years relevant experience.
- Analyze complex data to develop strategic sales plans.
- Comfortable using digital tools/platforms with healthcare professionals.
- Flexible/adaptable to changing market and customer expectations.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Works independently and collaboratively; excellent organization and time management.
- Valid driver’s license.

- Background in sales, account management, consultative roles, or customer service.
- Experience analyzing metrics; product launches in competitive markets.
- Ability to simplify complex information and convey technical details.

Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Eligible for Sales Incentive Plan and company car.
- Salary range: S1 $79,200–$124,700; S2 $106,200–$167,200.
