Territory-level field sales role (Salinas, CA). Travel/overnight travel may be required (~25%).
Position Overview
- Develop and manage relationships with health care customers across physiciansโ offices, integrated delivery systems, pharmacies, and hospital clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with company policies, standards, and ethics.
- Maintain current product knowledge and certifications for the companyโs portfolio.
- Conduct balanced, compliant product sales discussions with health care providers and business professionals per product labeling.
- Provide customers key insights using approved promotional materials and up-to-date professional/health care environment knowledge.
- Provide management regular updates on customer needs, patient health outcomes, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.
- Deliver key insights based on professional knowledge and market trends.
- Monitor business performance vs. objectives using company tools.
Minimum Requirements
- S1: BA/BS or high school diploma/equivalent with 0โ3 years relevant experience.
- S2: BA/BS or high school diploma/equivalent with 3+ years sales experience or 6+ years relevant experience.
- Analyze complex data to develop strategic sales plans.
- Comfortable using digital tools/platforms with health care professionals.
- Flexible/adaptable to changing market conditions.
- Proven interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills; strong independent and collaborative work habits.
- Valid driverโs license.
- Reside in Salinas, CA area; must live within 50 miles.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Sales/account management/consultative/customer service background; experience analyzing metrics.
- Minimum 3 years relevant sales experience; experience launching products in competitive markets.
- Ability to simplify complex information and convey technical details.
- Proficiency with advanced analytics and multi-channel tools/technology.
