The Position: Experienced cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison (MSL) within Medical Affairs. Field-based; candidate must be located within one of the territories.
Responsibilities:
- Engage cardiologists/endocrinologists/healthcare professionals/stakeholders with scientific exchange to advance the treatment landscape.
- Educate on RNAi technology and cardiometabolic conditions (hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, hypercholesterolemia).
- Synthesize and communicate clinical/scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
- Attend and present at scientific congresses and meetings.
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries consistent with MSL compliance standards.
- Support company-sponsored clinical trials through investigator site engagement.
- Support speaker training and ensure speakers are updated on evolving disease/product data.
- Support national/regional/local congresses, including Opinion Leader engagement and session/booth coverage and debriefs.
- Monitor/analyze publications, clinical trials, and the competitive landscape.
- Maintain clinical/scientific expertise and industry business acumen.
- Act in accordance with company policies.
- Develop territory-specific OL and account plans; perform pre-call planning and follow-up.
- Communicate clearly; document accomplishments.
- Provide scientific support for Med Info inquiries.
- Develop scientific content for medical education initiatives.
- Support Medical Affairs special projects/initiatives.
Requirements:
- PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO required.
- 5+ years MSL experience.
- Cardiometabolic therapeutic experience; biotech/pharma Medical Affairs experience.
- Strong verbal/written communication; collaboration; travel.
- Ability to interpret scientific data and translate to educational/research needs.
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery (including managed care) and research study design/execution.
- Strong project/time management; strategic, creative, and adaptable.
Pay Range: $190,000β$210,000 USD. Benefits: competitive salaries and an excellent benefit package.
